1. Our kit immediately opens out from the 65mm front pipe to 70mm, this immediate increase allows for higher flow, a deeper more sporty exhaust tone and enhances the pops and bags associated with the DSG gear change.
2. So why don’t other kits do this? Quite simply – COST. It is cheaper to manufacture a kit out of thinner cheaper pipe, moreover there are very few places in the UK with the capability to mandrel bend 70mm pipe. That is why you will never see the kinks or thinning of the pipe on the bends on our kits like you will on cheaper systems. These thinned bends restrict the exhausts air flow and decrease performance and let’s face it that is not what you are buying this kit to do!
3. Our kit is mandrel bent and TIG welded from the highest quality 304 stainless steel. All the welds are back purged – for the non welders this means pressurising the pipe inside with gas to create a smooth and perfect weld. Not many places will take the time to do this but we feel details are important!
4. Our kit is designed to be reversible and includes everything you need not only to fit the kit but also to put it back to stock should you need to. most other kits will require you to purchase additional sleeves or clamps if you want to do this.
