We operate an international online store backed by a specialist, experienced workshop in Stockport, Greater Manchester.

The Position

Due to our rapid expansion and brand new workshop premises, we are looking for an additional service technician to join the team and help us progress the business to the next level.

A successful candidate will have the opportunity to work on the latest performance and prestige vehicles and receive continual training, alongside exceptional benefits, working with a combined parts and performance centre.

Technician responsibilities:

  • Servicing
  • General maintenance including cambelts, exhausts, brakes, tyres and suspension work.
  • Additional duties deemed reasonable by the Management Team

As we are a small team, there will additional ad hoc duties, as per the requirements of the business.

The Right Candidate

Essential:

  • Knowledge of VW/Audi group vehicles
  • Level 2 or 3 qualification in light vehicle maintenance.
  • Highly professional presentation and conduct
  • Exceptional attention to detail
  • Evidence of maintenance best practices
  • Ability to work in a small team as well as independently
  • Confidence working unsupervised and with initiative
  • IT skills to effectively use management systems & vehicle databases
  • Positive, can-do attitude

Desirable:

  • Knowledge and passion regarding performance vehicles
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Enthusiast for vehicle performance & tuning
  • Commitment to professional development

The Position

We’re looking for a motivated, innovative and professional person to join our busy team. A creative mindset will be essential for this role to enable the development and deployment of  exciting and engaging graphic design and social media content to help us to reach our goals. This is a new junior role which can be shaped and grown by the right candidate who will need to show initiative, proactivity and the ability to work independently. This role has lots of capacity for personal and professional growth and career development.

The Duties & Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be predominantly responsible for in-house graphic design including but not limited to marketing, social media content, digital and print media, product development and branding for our various entities.

Design responsibilities:

  • Developing & maintaining the brand through consistent creation of high quality print & digital media, consistent with in-house style guides.
  • Email marketing to a growing subscriber list.
  • Website graphics & promotional material.
  • Social media content creation for organic & paid campaigns, including Facebook, Instagram etc
  • Future branding/re-branding projects.
  • Print media /literature for shows & events, promotions and consignments.
  • Display network adverts for Google & partners.

Additional responsibilities:

  • Writing of copy as and when needed for social media and email campaigns
  • Supporting the Director with ad hoc tasks (eg. liaising with potential customers via social media)
  • Supporting the Director with administrative tasks relating to sponsorships and online advertising

As we are a small team, there will additional ad hoc duties, as per the requirements of the business.

The Right Candidate

Essential:

  • Strong creative & design instincts and skills with experience of applying these capabilities in a professional context
  • Experience of and confidence with utilising social media platforms
  • Proficient in Adobe suite design packages (Photoshop/Illustrator/After Effects)
  • Experience with online marketing packages (Klaviyo, MailChimp etc)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Highly professional presentation and conduct
  • Exceptional attention to detail
  • Evidence of creative best practices
  • Ability to work in a small team as well as independently
  • Confidence working unsupervised and with initiative
  • Excellent IT skills and the ability to pick up new systems quickly
  • Commitment to professional development
  • Positive, can-do attitude

Desirable:

  • Filming/Video editing skills for online
  • Social media for business experience
  • Excellent copywriting skills, extended scope for creative writing/blogging.
  • Experience within an Ecommerce, marketing, sales environments
  • Knowledge of advertising platforms including Google/Facebook
  • Knowledge and passion regarding performance vehicles
