Revo VW Mk7/7.5 Golf R Stage 3 – Enhanced Turbo Upgrade (Non-GPF)
Revo Stage 3 offers some of the most substantial performance increases on the market. How this power is delivered however is far more important to us, which is why peak figures form part of a much bigger picture and are never the sole focus during the development process. It’s all about the drive, and only Revo offers a perfected balance of power, economy and an exciting drive. On the MQB platform, Stage 3 is the next leap up the ladder.
Stage 3 is not all about peak numbers, it is about unlocking the true potential of the EA888 engine, peak figures may rise to around the 500bhp mark however when you drive the car you will notice a dramatic increase in drivability.
The IS38 ETR Turbo upgrade is designed to provide a completely reliable solution giving up to 520BHP/580NM on EA888 Gen3 vehicles running on stock engine internals.
Enhancing the vehicle with Revo ECU Software gives you much more than just an increase in power and torque. It feels more responsive and offers a huge improvement throughout the whole rev range, something that only the driven will understand and demand.
Only Revo performance ECU Software maintains factory safety levels and additional driving features. You can also choose between four pre-set fuel quality modes depending on which fuel you use. The Revo SPS Software Switch is also available separately, which can be used to quickly switch between a low boost mode and 3 other performance modes for 97, 98 and 100ron fuel quality.

Performance Data
Dyno testing was carried on our inhouse DynaPack chassis dynamometer, which measures performance at the wheel hubs, for comparisons between a Stock VW Golf R with IS38 Turbo and the same vehicle fitted with a full Revo performance Pack and IS38ETR V1 and V2 turbos.

Performance Times
Performance testing was carried out on a private track in the UK on a 2014 VW Golf R with DSG transmission. Revo Rv019 19″ wheels with Nankang road tyres, traction control off and 99RON Shell vPower. The average performance times are taken from 5 consecutive runs.

What do our stock statuses mean?
1+ IN STOCK in green stock is readily available in one of our warehouses for express delivery (at the time of viewing).
LOW STOCK in green means we're running low! 1 or 2 left on the shelf so act fast. Over evenings, weekends and bank holidays this stock can move quickly so please bear this in mind.
0 IN STOCK in blue means our primary warehouse does not have unallocated stock, but our UK partners do. Often these can be shipped quickly and efficiently. You'll be notified via the Track My Order page if further delays are unavoidable.
MADE TO ORDER in blue means we've partnered with a supplier which primarily makes their products to order. It's not on our shelf, but your order goes into production immediately.
0 IN STOCK in orange means everybody we work with is unfortunately out of stock. Stock is not available in the UK. The best course of action is to place an order to create an allocation from the next batch arriving.
OUT OF STOCK in red. This product is unavailable to order, for whatever reason we're unable to obtain stock or there is an issue with supply/lead times.

In the words of the Vehicle Standards Agency (VCA), type approval provides "confirmation that production and samples of a design will meet specified performance standards".
For emissions components this encompasses noise, emissions and balanced back pressure, which have a strong influence on maintaining engine performance (power), and fuel efficiency. Type approval ensures that an aftermarket component will reach, or exceed the performance standard of the corresponding OE part.
Type-approval then, is a certain guarantee that an end user will receive a product of OE equivalent performance attributes.
Products on the Progressive Parts website that meet this approval will be clearly marked or labelled EC or ECE approved.
