The Wagner Tuning Monolith is a high-flow metallic catalyst substrate designed for use in custom and performance exhaust systems. With a 200CPSI (cells per square inch) cell density and EU6 emissions compliance, it offers a sensible balance between reduced exhaust restriction and cleaner emissions, making it a popular choice for tuned petrol applications where the original catalyst has become a flow bottleneck.
Compared to a standard OEM catalyst (typically 400 or 600 CPSI), the lower 200CPSI count allows exhaust gases to pass through more freely. This helps reduce back pressure, which can improve turbo response, free up power further up the rev range, and give a slightly sharper exhaust note, while still treating emissions to a level that supports EU6 standards.

Who is this for?
This catalyst is intended for workshops, fabricators and enthusiasts building or upgrading a downpipe, sports cat section or full custom exhaust. It is supplied as a universal component, meaning it will need to be cut into and welded into an existing or bespoke exhaust pipe by a competent fabricator. The 121mm outer diameter suits larger bore exhaust sections commonly used on turbocharged petrol engines.

Important Fitment Notes
This is a universal catalyst substrate, not a bolt-on part. Professional welding and fabrication are required for installation. The pipe diameter on either side of the catalyst must be matched correctly to ensure proper gas flow and to avoid damage to the substrate.
Please check local road legality before fitting. While the Monolith range is designed to support EU6 compliance, the finished exhaust system must still meet emissions and noise regulations in your country of use.

0 IN STOCK in blue means our primary warehouse does not have unallocated stock, but our UK partners do. Often these can be shipped quickly and efficiently. You'll be notified via the Track My Order page if further delays are unavoidable.
MADE TO ORDER in blue means we've partnered with a supplier which primarily makes their products to order. It's not on our shelf, but your order goes into production immediately.
0 IN STOCK in orange means everybody we work with is unfortunately out of stock. Stock is not available in the UK. The best course of action is to place an order to create an allocation from the next batch arriving.
OUT OF STOCK in red. This product is unavailable to order, for whatever reason we're unable to obtain stock or there is an issue with supply/lead times.

In the words of the Vehicle Standards Agency (VCA), type approval provides "confirmation that production and samples of a design will meet specified performance standards".
For emissions components this encompasses noise, emissions and balanced back pressure, which have a strong influence on maintaining engine performance (power), and fuel efficiency. Type approval ensures that an aftermarket component will reach, or exceed the performance standard of the corresponding OE part.
Type-approval then, is a certain guarantee that an end user will receive a product of OE equivalent performance attributes.
Products on the Progressive Parts website that meet this approval will be clearly marked or labelled EC or ECE approved.
