Wagner Tuning Mitsubishi EVO 7/8/9 Silicone Hose Kit
This silicone hose kit from Wagner Tuning is designed to pair with the Wagner Tuning intercooler upgrade for the Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution 7, 8 and 9. It replaces the connecting hoses between the intercooler and the rest of the charge pipework, giving you a clean, reliable fit that handles the heat and boost pressure typical of a tuned 4G63 engine.
The original rubber hoses on these cars can soften, swell or split over time, especially once boost levels are increased. Switching to reinforced silicone helps maintain a consistent seal, reduces the risk of boost leaks and keeps charge air temperatures stable under hard driving.

Why upgrade to silicone?
Silicone copes far better than standard rubber when exposed to repeated heat cycles and higher boost pressures. The hoses are multi-layer reinforced, which means they hold their shape under load and resist ballooning. In practice, this gives you more consistent boost response and a tidier engine bay appearance.
Fitting is straightforward and uses the supplied clamps. No cutting, trimming or additional brackets are required, provided you are running the matching Wagner Tuning intercooler.
Important fitment information
This hose kit is designed exclusively for use with the Wagner Tuning intercooler for the Mitsubishi EVO 7/8/9. It is not compatible with the OEM intercooler or with intercoolers from other manufacturers.

MADE TO ORDER in blue means we've partnered with a supplier which primarily makes their products to order. It's not on our shelf, but your order goes into production immediately.
0 IN STOCK in orange means everybody we work with is unfortunately out of stock. Stock is not available in the UK. The best course of action is to place an order to create an allocation from the next batch arriving.
OUT OF STOCK in red. This product is unavailable to order, for whatever reason we're unable to obtain stock or there is an issue with supply/lead times.

In the words of the Vehicle Standards Agency (VCA), type approval provides "confirmation that production and samples of a design will meet specified performance standards".
For emissions components this encompasses noise, emissions and balanced back pressure, which have a strong influence on maintaining engine performance (power), and fuel efficiency. Type approval ensures that an aftermarket component will reach, or exceed the performance standard of the corresponding OE part.
Type-approval then, is a certain guarantee that an end user will receive a product of OE equivalent performance attributes.
