What is CPSI?

CPSI stands for “cells per square inch” and refers to the density of the honeycomb structure inside the catalyst. A lower CPSI count means larger, fewer cells, which allows exhaust gases to pass through with less restriction. The trade off is slightly less surface area for the catalyst coating to react with the gases, though the EU6 coating used here is highly efficient.
