VIS Motorsport High Pressure Fuel Pump Upgrade Kit 2.0 TFSI EA113 – VISEA113S1
Upgrading 2.0 TFSI EA113 MQB and other engines with the same high-pressure fuel pump (HPFP) beyond their original power levels necessitates an increased volume of high-pressure fuel to prevent “fuel cuts”, particularly in the mid-range (3000-5000 rpm). In many instances, we observe a decline in pressure from the factory-installed fuel pump.
The capacity of the high-pressure fuel pump to deliver fuel is contingent upon the volume displaced by the pressurising cylinder within the pump.
To address this fuel shortage and ever-increasing power outputs, VIS Motorsport developed the 2.0T MQB HPFP Upgrade Kit to suit various build requirements. We are the first company to design and offer a larger stage/size kit that is both lighter than the original equipment manufacturer (OEM) by 2 grams and available to customers worldwide.
The upgrade kit features a 25% larger surface area and can handle over 250 bar+ of pressure from the outset, culminating in over 50% more volume and weighing 10% less compared to the original equipment (fuel pressure depends on the specific engine type, as it fits numerous applications and engines). This high-performance kit is suitable for both big turbo applications and stock power.
The piston head is optimised for ideal hydrodynamic flow, with a surface that has been hardened and heat-treated in two separate stages.
The VIS Motorsport HPFP Upgrade Kit has been tested on a variety of configurations and hardware/software setups worldwide, consistently demonstrating its reliability and performance.
