Warranty Periods by Product Line

Each Vagsport product line carries a specific warranty period, detailed below:

What The Warranty Covers:

Our warranties generally cover manufacturing faults and material defects that arise under normal use and conditions. For products with a "Lifetime" warranty, this specifically pertains to the intended lifespan of the product against such defects. For Billet Subframe Inserts, this extends to functional failure not caused by external factors or improper use.

This warranty is valid for the original purchaser only and is non-transferable.

What The Warranty Does NOT Cover

This Vagsport warranty does not cover:

• Damage from Incorrect Installation: Vagsport performance parts require professional installation by qualified technicians. Damage caused during fitting or by incorrect, incomplete, or unprofessional installation is not covered.
• Wear and Tear: Normal wear and tear on components, especially consumable items like air filter elements within VSR Intakes, is not covered unless explicitly stated otherwise (e.g., for "lifetime against defects" on certain parts where the defect itself causes abnormal wear).
• Misuse, Abuse, or Neglect: Damage resulting from racing, off-road use (unless specifically designed and advertised for it), accidents, impacts, overloading, improper maintenance, or any use outside the intended purpose of the product.
• Alterations or Modifications: Any unauthorized modifications, alterations, or repairs to the product.
• Consequential or Incidental Damages: Vagsport is not responsible for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages (e.g., loss of use, vehicle damage, labour costs for installation/removal) arising from the failure of a Vagsport part. Our liability is limited solely to the repair or replacement of the defective product as determined by Vagsport.
• Environmental Factors: Damage caused by road hazards, extreme environmental conditions, chemical exposure, or acts of nature.
• Cosmetic Damage: Minor cosmetic blemishes that do not affect the product's functionality or structural integrity.

How to Make a Warranty Claim

If you believe your Vagsport product has a defect covered by this warranty:

1. Contact Progressive Parts Customer Service: Reach out to our support team at [email protected] with details of the issue. Provide your order number, date of purchase, and a description of the problem.
2. Provide Proof of Purchase: A valid proof of purchase (e.g., original sales receipt, invoice, order confirmation) from an authorized Vagsport dealer or directly from Vagsport is required.
3. Product Return: Vagsport may request that you return the product for inspection. Shipping costs for returning the product for warranty assessment are the responsibility of the purchaser.
4. Assessment and Resolution: Upon receiving and inspecting the product, Vagsport will determine if the issue is covered under the applicable warranty. If a valid claim is established, Vagsport will, at its sole discretion, either:
   • Repair the defective product.
   • Replace the defective product with an equivalent new or refurbished product.
