Triple R Composites Seat Leon MK2 Cupra/FR Finned Diffuser
Give your Seat Leon MK2 Cupra/FR a sharper, more aggressive rear end with this finned rear diffuser. The deep fins break up the flat rear bumper and add a subtle motorsport style look.
This diffuser is a direct replacement for the factory rear diffuser panel. It is made from GRP (glass reinforced plastic) – a strong, lightweight plastic with glass fibres for extra toughness – and finished in gloss black to match most factory trims and styling parts.

Fitment and installation
This diffuser fits Seat Leon MK2 Cupra/FR models from 2005 to 2012 and replaces the standard rear bumper diffuser panel.
Please note: Some trimming and sanding is usually required to achieve the best fit.
Fitting tips:
1 – Sand the mounting clips on the diffuser to around 4 mm thickness so they locate more easily.
2 – Lightly lubricate the clip areas on the car’s bumper (for example with WD40) to help the clips slide in.
3 – Use a blunt screwdriver or similar tool to gently prise open the clip holes on the bumper. The plastic will flex and return to shape once the diffuser is in place.
4 – Start fitting from one end of the diffuser. As more clips go in it may feel tighter – get one person pushing from behind the bumper while another pushes the diffuser into place from the outside.
5 – If clips do not seem to line up, lift the diffuser upwards while pushing it into the bumper. Work across the diffuser and clip them in one by one. It may look like it does not fit at first, but it will pull into position as more clips engage.
Test fit the diffuser before painting or final fixing to confirm alignment and clip engagement.

MADE TO ORDER in blue means we've partnered with a supplier which primarily makes their products to order. It's not on our shelf, but your order goes into production immediately.
0 IN STOCK in orange means everybody we work with is unfortunately out of stock. Stock is not available in the UK. The best course of action is to place an order to create an allocation from the next batch arriving.
OUT OF STOCK in red. This product is unavailable to order, for whatever reason we're unable to obtain stock or there is an issue with supply/lead times.

In the words of the Vehicle Standards Agency (VCA), type approval provides "confirmation that production and samples of a design will meet specified performance standards".
For emissions components this encompasses noise, emissions and balanced back pressure, which have a strong influence on maintaining engine performance (power), and fuel efficiency. Type approval ensures that an aftermarket component will reach, or exceed the performance standard of the corresponding OE part.
Type-approval then, is a certain guarantee that an end user will receive a product of OE equivalent performance attributes.
