Suspension Secrets BMW M3 (F80) M4 (F82) Solid Rear Control Arm Bushes
Suspension Secrets offers a solution for increasing rear axle stability and predictability in the BMW F80 M3/F82 M4 with its Rear Solid Control Arm Bush.
During hard cornering, the stock rubber control arm bushes in the BMW F80 M3/F82 M4 flex. This flex leads to dynamic changes in the rear camber angle, which reduces rear traction due to inconsistent grip through the corner. Changes to the rear camber also alter the rear toe angles, increasing instability and causing the rear end to “scrabble.”
To address this issue, Suspension Secrets designed its Rear Solid Control Arm Bush. Unlike the OEM rubber bushes, these solid bushes do not flex. As a result, the rear camber and toe remain constant when cornering, which significantly increases stability.
The key features of the Suspension Secrets Rear Solid Control Arm Bush are:
- Increased rear axle stability on road and track
- Improved sense of connection to the rear axle
- Increased cornering grip
- More precise handling when driving quickly
- Motorsport-grade Rodoball bearings
Suspension Secrets’ products are designed and manufactured in the UK. They are made from billet aircraft-grade 6082 T6 aluminium and corrosion-resistant 316 stainless steel. The company uses motorsport-spec Fluro rod ends and Rodoball bearings for maximum performance and longevity.
