High-Flow Performance Filter

The filter itself is built using Ramair’s twin-layer performance foam – a dense yet open-celled foam that catches dirt and debris while allowing a significantly higher volume of air through compared to a standard paper filter. It’s supported by a stainless-steel cage structure for rigidity, and paired with a satin black, flow-calculated trumpet (the shaped inlet that helps guide air smoothly into the filter).

CNC Laser-Cut Heat Shield

One of the standout features of this kit is the two-part heat shield. Hot air from the engine bay is less dense than cold air, and less dense air means less efficient combustion. The heat shield works to isolate the filter from engine heat, helping to ensure the engine draws in cooler, denser air for better performance.

The shield is cut using CNC laser technology – the same process Ramair use for their motorsport equipment – assembled with aircraft-grade rivets, and finished in a satin black powder coat. The result is a well-engineered, good-looking component that does a genuinely useful job.
