This intake kit from Ramair is a direct replacement for the factory airbox and intake pipework on the Ford Fiesta MK8 1.0 EcoBoost. It is designed to improve airflow into the engine, which can help free up performance and give the engine a more noticeable induction sound – that satisfying pull of air as the engine works harder.

The kit replaces all of the standard intake pipework right back to the turbo inlet (the point where air enters the turbocharger), giving the engine a cleaner, less restrictive path to breathe through. Available with a black, blue, or red silicone hose to suit your preference.

The Heatshield

The heatshield is a standout feature of this kit. It is cut using laser technology and assembled with aircraft-grade rivets – the same methods Ramair use in their motorsport work. Keeping hot air away from the filter matters because cooler, denser air is better for combustion, which helps the engine perform more consistently, especially when it is already warm.

The Filter

Ramair’s filter uses a twin-layer foam design rather than the more common single-layer cotton gauze you find in many induction kits. This construction is intended to balance good airflow with reliable filtration. The stainless-steel cage inside gives the filter its shape and stops it collapsing under suction.

Performance Expectations

Ramair only produce kits for vehicles where they are confident the results are positive – if testing does not demonstrate a genuine benefit, they do not bring the product to market. Whether your Fiesta is standard or has already had some tuning work done, this kit is designed to complement the setup rather than conflict with it.
