This Ramair Jetstream induction kit is a well-engineered replacement for the standard air intake on a wide range of 1.9 and 2.0 TDI VAG-group vehicles – covering popular models from VW, Audi, SEAT, and Skoda. It is designed to improve airflow into the engine compared to the restrictive factory airbox, which can help sharpen throttle response and free up a little extra performance. You will also notice a more pronounced induction sound – a deeper, more mechanical intake note that many diesel enthusiasts enjoy.

This kit is specifically designed for TDI engines where the MAF housing (the Mass Air Flow sensor housing – a component that measures how much air enters the engine) has an 80mm outer diameter. Please confirm fitment for your specific vehicle before purchasing.

What’s Included

• Ramair cone air filter – A moulded polymer cone filter using Ramair’s dual-layer foam with a stainless steel internal cage for durability and consistent airflow.
• 4-ply silicone intake pipe – A high-quality silicone pipe that maintains a smooth, consistent 80mm internal diameter from the filter through to the MAF housing, reducing turbulence in the airflow.
• Powder-coated heat shield – Laser-cut and precision-folded, this black powder-coated shield mounts directly to the standard factory airbox mounting points with no modifications required. It acts as a barrier between the filter and the warmer parts of the engine bay, helping to keep intake air temperatures lower – cooler air is denser and generally better for performance. It also directs air from the factory cold air feed around the filter cone.
• Full fitting kit – All nuts, bolts, hose clamps, rubbers, vacuum hose, and silicone hose needed to fit the kit to a standard, unmodified vehicle are included.

The heat shield includes provision for the vacuum line found on most 2.0 TDI airboxes, and the entire kit is designed to use OEM (original equipment manufacturer) mounting points, meaning no drilling or permanent modifications are needed during installation.

Vehicle Fitment

This kit fits a broad range of VAG-group 1.6, 1.9, and 2.0 TDI models, including the VW Golf Mk5, Audi A3 (8P), SEAT Leon Mk2, SEAT Altea, SEAT Toledo, Skoda Octavia (1Z), and Skoda Superb (3T) – covering production years from approximately 2003 to 2015 depending on the model.
