PAGID RST 4 Racing Brake Pad (Shape 1283) S1283T04001
Built for sprint racing where control and consistency matter. The PAGID RST 4 is a medium friction compound with a confident initial bite, smooth modulation and strong fade resistance at sustained high temperatures. It delivers repeatable stopping power lap after lap with a firm, predictable pedal.
Use it when you want sharp response without being too aggressive on balance. Often chosen on the rear axle to pair with higher bite front compounds, or on lighter cars and those with high aero grip where stability is key.
Ideal for:
– Sprint circuit racing
– Rally tarmac and gravel
– Track day cars needing a true racing pad with good control
Expect quicker bedding than endurance compounds, strong torque stability across the temperature range, and dependable performance in short to medium stints. As with all racing pads, more dust, noise and disc wear are normal compared to road pads.

MADE TO ORDER in blue means we've partnered with a supplier which primarily makes their products to order. It's not on our shelf, but your order goes into production immediately.

In the words of the Vehicle Standards Agency (VCA), type approval provides "confirmation that production and samples of a design will meet specified performance standards".
For emissions components this encompasses noise, emissions and balanced back pressure, which have a strong influence on maintaining engine performance (power), and fuel efficiency. Type approval ensures that an aftermarket component will reach, or exceed the performance standard of the corresponding OE part.
Type-approval then, is a certain guarantee that an end user will receive a product of OE equivalent performance attributes.
