The PAGID RST 3 is a sprint racing compound designed for strong, repeatable braking with excellent control. It delivers a medium friction level with smooth pedal feel and easy modulation, so you can trail brake with confidence and balance the car mid-corner. It copes well with high temperatures and offers low to medium disc wear for its performance class.

Bed-in advice
Bring pads up to temperature with several medium stops, then a few firm stops. Do not come to a complete halt while hot. Allow to cool to ambient before pushing hard. This helps build a transfer layer on the disc for consistent performance.

In the words of the Vehicle Standards Agency (VCA), type approval provides "confirmation that production and samples of a design will meet specified performance standards".
For emissions components this encompasses noise, emissions and balanced back pressure, which have a strong influence on maintaining engine performance (power), and fuel efficiency. Type approval ensures that an aftermarket component will reach, or exceed the performance standard of the corresponding OE part.
Type-approval then, is a certain guarantee that an end user will receive a product of OE equivalent performance attributes.
