PAGID RST 3 Racing Brake Pad (Shape 4929) S4929T03001
Built for serious track use, the PAGID RST 3 is a medium-friction racing compound that delivers stable braking and confident modulation lap after lap. It works well as a rear-axle pad in many setups and pairs effectively with higher-bite fronts such as RST 1 or RST 2.
What it does
The RST 3 gives strong, predictable stopping power with easy pedal control. It resists fade at high temperatures and manages heat well, helping keep discs in good condition across a race stint.
Best use
– Ideal for sprint racing, time attack and short- to medium-distance track events
– Common for rear-axle use in GT, touring and formula cars
– Suits tarmac and gravel rally where control and balance matter
Note: Racing compound for track use only. Expect noise, dust and faster wear on the road.

In the words of the Vehicle Standards Agency (VCA), type approval provides "confirmation that production and samples of a design will meet specified performance standards".
For emissions components this encompasses noise, emissions and balanced back pressure, which have a strong influence on maintaining engine performance (power), and fuel efficiency. Type approval ensures that an aftermarket component will reach, or exceed the performance standard of the corresponding OE part.
Type-approval then, is a certain guarantee that an end user will receive a product of OE equivalent performance attributes.
