PAGID RST 3 Racing Brake Pad (Shape 2555) S2555T03001
Built for sprint racing where strong initial bite and repeatable stops matter. The PAGID RST 3 compound gives fast response, stable pedal feel, and dependable fade resistance during short to medium sessions. It works well from moderate temperatures and remains consistent as heat builds, lap after lap.
Use it as a front pad on lighter cars or sprint setups, or as a rear pad when paired with a higher-bite front compound. Expect firm, predictable braking with good modulation, so you can trail brake with confidence. This is a pure motorsport compound and is not intended for daily road use.

In the words of the Vehicle Standards Agency (VCA), type approval provides "confirmation that production and samples of a design will meet specified performance standards".
For emissions components this encompasses noise, emissions and balanced back pressure, which have a strong influence on maintaining engine performance (power), and fuel efficiency. Type approval ensures that an aftermarket component will reach, or exceed the performance standard of the corresponding OE part.
Type-approval then, is a certain guarantee that an end user will receive a product of OE equivalent performance attributes.
