Built for hard, short to medium stints where confident stopping matters. PAGID RST 3 gives strong initial bite, steady pedal feel, and repeatable performance lap after lap. Ideal for sprint racing, rally tarmac and gravel, hillclimbs, and aggressive track use.
RST 3 is a medium friction racing compound. It heats up fast, resists fade at high temperatures, and is easy to modulate. Drivers often pair it on the rear axle with a higher-friction front to balance the car under braking.
For track and competition use. Not recommended for everyday road driving.

In the words of the Vehicle Standards Agency (VCA), type approval provides "confirmation that production and samples of a design will meet specified performance standards".
For emissions components this encompasses noise, emissions and balanced back pressure, which have a strong influence on maintaining engine performance (power), and fuel efficiency. Type approval ensures that an aftermarket component will reach, or exceed the performance standard of the corresponding OE part.
Type-approval then, is a certain guarantee that an end user will receive a product of OE equivalent performance attributes.
