The PAGID RST 2E is a sprint-focused racing compound with strong initial bite and precise pedal feel. It delivers consistent braking lap after lap, with stable friction at high temperatures. Modulation is smooth, so you can trail-brake with confidence and manage tyres over a stint.
Compound overview
RST 2E is a high-friction motorsport pad developed for short to medium races, aggressive track days, and time attack. It comes in quickly from cold but performs best when warmed. The compound balances bite with control, giving fast response without being snappy. Wear rates are optimised for repeated high-energy stops.
Note: Racing pads can be noisy, produce more dust, and may increase disc wear. Not recommended for everyday road use.

Bedding guidance
Bed in with progressive heat cycles. Start with light-to-medium stops to bring the pads and discs up to temperature. Increase brake pressure in stages. Allow a full cool-down before competitive use for best consistency.

MADE TO ORDER in blue means we've partnered with a supplier which primarily makes their products to order. It's not on our shelf, but your order goes into production immediately.

In the words of the Vehicle Standards Agency (VCA), type approval provides "confirmation that production and samples of a design will meet specified performance standards".
For emissions components this encompasses noise, emissions and balanced back pressure, which have a strong influence on maintaining engine performance (power), and fuel efficiency. Type approval ensures that an aftermarket component will reach, or exceed the performance standard of the corresponding OE part.
Type-approval then, is a certain guarantee that an end user will receive a product of OE equivalent performance attributes.
