Designed for serious track performance. PAGID RST 2E offers strong initial bite, consistent pedal feel, and reliable braking over a wide temperature range. It gives confident stopping power lap after lap with low fade.
RST compounds are built for sprint and short endurance racing. RST 2E focuses on a firm, predictable feel with stable friction from warm-up to high heat. Expect high braking torque, very good modulation, and fast recovery after hard use.
Track-focused compound – not recommended for daily road use. Racing pads can be noisy, dusty, and wear discs faster. Proper bedding-in is essential.

In the words of the Vehicle Standards Agency (VCA), type approval provides "confirmation that production and samples of a design will meet specified performance standards".
For emissions components this encompasses noise, emissions and balanced back pressure, which have a strong influence on maintaining engine performance (power), and fuel efficiency. Type approval ensures that an aftermarket component will reach, or exceed the performance standard of the corresponding OE part.
Type-approval then, is a certain guarantee that an end user will receive a product of OE equivalent performance attributes.
