PAGID RST 2E Racing Brake Pad (Shape 1595) S1595T2E001
Built for serious track use, the RST 2E compound gives confident stopping power lap after lap. It bites hard, resists fade at high temperatures, and keeps a consistent pedal feel so you can brake later and modulate with precision.
RST 2E is part of PAGIDs sprint racing family. It is engineered for repeated high-energy stops with stable friction across a wide temperature window. Release is smooth, helping balance the car on corner entry. Use front or rear depending on your setup and target brake balance.
Best for circuit sprint, time attack, and short to medium endurance running. Not recommended for daily road use due to potential noise, dust, and disc wear typical of race pads.

Bedding-in
Follow a proper bed-in (heat cycle) to seat the pads and discs. Build temperature gradually with several medium stops, allow partial cool-down, then apply a few firm stops. Avoid coming to a complete halt while the brakes are very hot.

MADE TO ORDER in blue means we've partnered with a supplier which primarily makes their products to order. It's not on our shelf, but your order goes into production immediately.

In the words of the Vehicle Standards Agency (VCA), type approval provides "confirmation that production and samples of a design will meet specified performance standards".
For emissions components this encompasses noise, emissions and balanced back pressure, which have a strong influence on maintaining engine performance (power), and fuel efficiency. Type approval ensures that an aftermarket component will reach, or exceed the performance standard of the corresponding OE part.
Type-approval then, is a certain guarantee that an end user will receive a product of OE equivalent performance attributes.
