PAGID RST 2 Racing Brake Pad (Shape 1749) S1749T02001
The PAGID RST 2 is a sprint racing compound built for strong, repeatable stopping power. It gives a firm initial bite, fast response, and confident modulation so you can trail brake and control lock-up with precision.
RST 2 stays stable under heavy use and resists fade at high track temperatures. It suits aggressive braking on short to medium circuits, time attack, hill climb, and tarmac rally. It also works for experienced track day drivers who want a sharper pedal and consistent performance lap after lap.
Note: Racing pads can be noisy and dusty, and may wear discs faster. Cold performance is usable, but they work best when warm. Not recommended for everyday road use.

MADE TO ORDER in blue means we've partnered with a supplier which primarily makes their products to order. It's not on our shelf, but your order goes into production immediately.

In the words of the Vehicle Standards Agency (VCA), type approval provides "confirmation that production and samples of a design will meet specified performance standards".
For emissions components this encompasses noise, emissions and balanced back pressure, which have a strong influence on maintaining engine performance (power), and fuel efficiency. Type approval ensures that an aftermarket component will reach, or exceed the performance standard of the corresponding OE part.
Type-approval then, is a certain guarantee that an end user will receive a product of OE equivalent performance attributes.
