PAGID RST 1 Racing Brake Pad (Shape 8033) S8033T01001
Built for short to medium race stints where instant stopping power matters. PAGID RST 1 delivers a very high initial bite and strong, consistent friction lap after lap. It gives confident pedal feel and excellent fade resistance at high temperatures.
RST 1 is ideal for sprint racing, tarmac rally, hillclimb and time attack. It shines on the front axle of high-grip cars and heavier track builds. It also works as a rear option where strong brake balance is needed.
Track use only. Requires heat to perform at its best.

In the words of the Vehicle Standards Agency (VCA), type approval provides "confirmation that production and samples of a design will meet specified performance standards".
For emissions components this encompasses noise, emissions and balanced back pressure, which have a strong influence on maintaining engine performance (power), and fuel efficiency. Type approval ensures that an aftermarket component will reach, or exceed the performance standard of the corresponding OE part.
Type-approval then, is a certain guarantee that an end user will receive a product of OE equivalent performance attributes.
