PAGID RST 1 Racing Brake Pad (Shape 1674) S1674T01001
The PAGID RST 1 is a high-friction racing compound built for short to medium events where strong initial bite and consistent stopping power matter. It delivers fast response, firm pedal feel, and stable performance across a wide temperature range.
Ideal for sprint racing, tarmac rally and aggressive track use, the RST 1 suits powerful or heavier cars that demand maximum front-axle braking. It offers excellent modulation (fine control of braking force) once up to temperature. Rotor and pad wear are higher than endurance compounds – this is the trade-off for peak bite and speed of response.
Track and motorsport use only. Expect more noise and dust than road pads.

– GT, touring car and single-seater sprint setups
– Typically used on the front axle; rear use only if balance requires

MADE TO ORDER in blue means we've partnered with a supplier which primarily makes their products to order. It's not on our shelf, but your order goes into production immediately.

In the words of the Vehicle Standards Agency (VCA), type approval provides "confirmation that production and samples of a design will meet specified performance standards".
For emissions components this encompasses noise, emissions and balanced back pressure, which have a strong influence on maintaining engine performance (power), and fuel efficiency. Type approval ensures that an aftermarket component will reach, or exceed the performance standard of the corresponding OE part.
Type-approval then, is a certain guarantee that an end user will receive a product of OE equivalent performance attributes.
