PAGID RST 1 Racing Brake Pad (Shape 1265) S1265T01001
Track use only. Not for road use.
The PAGID RST 1 is a sprint racing compound designed for maximum bite and high, stable friction. It delivers hard, decisive braking with strong initial response and excellent fade resistance at high temperatures. Ideal when you need short, repeatable stops lap after lap.
This compound works best once hot. Expect high dust and noise. Pad and disc wear will be higher than OE or track day pads. Bed in carefully for best results.
Who is it for?
– Sprint racing, rally, time attack and aggressive track setups
– Suits front axle use on many cars, or rear where very high torque is required
– Works well with race tyres and ABS-equipped cars

In the words of the Vehicle Standards Agency (VCA), type approval provides "confirmation that production and samples of a design will meet specified performance standards".
For emissions components this encompasses noise, emissions and balanced back pressure, which have a strong influence on maintaining engine performance (power), and fuel efficiency. Type approval ensures that an aftermarket component will reach, or exceed the performance standard of the corresponding OE part.
Type-approval then, is a certain guarantee that an end user will receive a product of OE equivalent performance attributes.
