PAGID RSL D1 Racing Brake Pad (Shape 2704) S2704LD1001
The PAGID RSL D1 is a modern endurance racing compound. It delivers stable, repeatable braking over long stints with low pad and disc wear. Bite is strong but easy to control, so you can trail-brake with confidence and manage tyres over a race distance.
RSL D1 works best at sustained medium to high temperatures. It resists fade and keeps a consistent pedal feel lap after lap. It is designed for iron discs and serious circuit use. Not for road use.

Who is it for
If you run endurance races or long track sessions and want consistent stops with minimal disc wear, RSL D1 is a strong choice. Suits heavier and faster cars that generate sustained brake heat.
Fitment guidance

Bedding and use
Follow a proper bed-in procedure to stabilise the pad surface and avoid vibration. Bring the pads up to temperature gradually, avoid standing on the brakes when stationary after hard stops, and allow a cool-down lap when possible.
Note: Racing compound. Not ECE R90 approved for road use.

MADE TO ORDER in blue means we've partnered with a supplier which primarily makes their products to order. It's not on our shelf, but your order goes into production immediately.

In the words of the Vehicle Standards Agency (VCA), type approval provides "confirmation that production and samples of a design will meet specified performance standards".
For emissions components this encompasses noise, emissions and balanced back pressure, which have a strong influence on maintaining engine performance (power), and fuel efficiency. Type approval ensures that an aftermarket component will reach, or exceed the performance standard of the corresponding OE part.
Type-approval then, is a certain guarantee that an end user will receive a product of OE equivalent performance attributes.
