PAGID RSL 29 Racing Brake Pad (Shape 8284) S8284R29001
Built for endurance racing, the PAGID RSL 29 compound delivers strong, repeatable stopping power lap after lap. It offers a smooth initial bite, excellent modulation, and very high fade resistance, making it ideal for long stints and heavy cars on track.
RSL 29 is known for long pad and disc life. It is kind to brake discs yet maintains a consistent pedal feel across a wide temperature range. If you want reliable, confidence-inspiring brakes for endurance events or intensive track days, this is the go-to compound.

In the words of the Vehicle Standards Agency (VCA), type approval provides "confirmation that production and samples of a design will meet specified performance standards".
For emissions components this encompasses noise, emissions and balanced back pressure, which have a strong influence on maintaining engine performance (power), and fuel efficiency. Type approval ensures that an aftermarket component will reach, or exceed the performance standard of the corresponding OE part.
Type-approval then, is a certain guarantee that an end user will receive a product of OE equivalent performance attributes.
