Built for endurance racing, the PAGID RSL 29 gives stable, repeatable braking over long stints. It offers strong fade resistance, smooth pedal feel, and low disc wear. Ideal for track days and endurance events, especially on heavier or high power cars where consistency matters most.
What it does
The RSL 29 compound delivers a medium initial bite with excellent control through the pedal. Friction stays consistent as temperatures rise, so performance remains predictable lap after lap. It is gentle on brake discs compared with more aggressive sprint compounds.

Racing compound – not recommended for daily road use. Expect more dust and noise than OE road pads. Braking power when cold is lower than when hot.

In the words of the Vehicle Standards Agency (VCA), type approval provides "confirmation that production and samples of a design will meet specified performance standards".
For emissions components this encompasses noise, emissions and balanced back pressure, which have a strong influence on maintaining engine performance (power), and fuel efficiency. Type approval ensures that an aftermarket component will reach, or exceed the performance standard of the corresponding OE part.
Type-approval then, is a certain guarantee that an end user will receive a product of OE equivalent performance attributes.
