PAGID RSL 2 Racing Brake Pad (Shape 8251) – S8251L02001
PAGID RSL 2 is a proven endurance racing compound. It delivers stable, predictable braking over long stints with very low wear and excellent fade resistance. It offers a smooth bite and easy modulation, making it ideal on the rear axle to balance cars that run a higher-grip front pad.
Choose RSL 2 when you need consistency, control and pad life in demanding conditions. It performs lap after lap, even at sustained high temperatures, without glazing or drop-off.
Race-use compound. Not designed for regular road driving.

Compound suitability

In the words of the Vehicle Standards Agency (VCA), type approval provides "confirmation that production and samples of a design will meet specified performance standards".
For emissions components this encompasses noise, emissions and balanced back pressure, which have a strong influence on maintaining engine performance (power), and fuel efficiency. Type approval ensures that an aftermarket component will reach, or exceed the performance standard of the corresponding OE part.
Type-approval then, is a certain guarantee that an end user will receive a product of OE equivalent performance attributes.
