PAGID RSL 1E Racing Brake Pad (Shape 8250) S8250L1E001
Built for long, hard race stints, the PAGID RSL 1E is an endurance compound that delivers stable, predictable braking lap after lap. It offers strong bite when up to temperature, excellent fade resistance under heavy loads, and consistent pedal feel to help you brake later with confidence. Rotor and pad wear are well balanced for long service life in endurance use.
RSL 1E works best on track-focused cars and in heavier, high-grip setups where brakes see sustained heat. It needs some temperature to perform at its best, so it is intended for circuit use rather than daily road driving.

In the words of the Vehicle Standards Agency (VCA), type approval provides "confirmation that production and samples of a design will meet specified performance standards".
For emissions components this encompasses noise, emissions and balanced back pressure, which have a strong influence on maintaining engine performance (power), and fuel efficiency. Type approval ensures that an aftermarket component will reach, or exceed the performance standard of the corresponding OE part.
Type-approval then, is a certain guarantee that an end user will receive a product of OE equivalent performance attributes.
