PAGID RSL 1E Racing Brake Pad (Shape 1595) S1595L1E001
The PAGID RSL 1E is a proven endurance racing compound. It delivers strong, consistent braking with very low wear. Expect stable pedal feel, easy modulation (fine control of brake force), and reliable performance over long stints.
RSL 1E works best on heavier and faster cars that place high thermal load on the brakes. It suits endurance racing, GT, touring car, and longer track sessions where consistency and pad life matter more than peak bite.
On track, the pad comes in quickly and stays stable across a wide temperature window. It is kind to iron discs and maintains torque even as temperatures rise. Drivers will notice smooth release and predictable ABS behaviour.
Track use only. These pads can be noisy and dusty. Not recommended for road use.

Bed-in guidance
Bring the pads up to temperature with several moderate stops. Increase brake pressure in stages. Avoid coming to a complete stop while the brakes are very hot. Allow a cooldown lap before parking. Proper bedding improves bite, consistency, and pad life.

In the words of the Vehicle Standards Agency (VCA), type approval provides "confirmation that production and samples of a design will meet specified performance standards".
For emissions components this encompasses noise, emissions and balanced back pressure, which have a strong influence on maintaining engine performance (power), and fuel efficiency. Type approval ensures that an aftermarket component will reach, or exceed the performance standard of the corresponding OE part.
Type-approval then, is a certain guarantee that an end user will receive a product of OE equivalent performance attributes.
