Built for historic and classic racing, the PAGID RSH 29E compound delivers stable braking over long stints with low disc wear. It offers a strong, controllable bite and consistent pedal feel lap after lap.

Designed for iron brake discs. Best suited to historic touring cars, classic GT, rally tarmac and endurance use. Also a strong option for track days where durability and consistency matter more than peak bite.
Not for road use. Racing pads may make noise, create dust, and need temperature to perform at their best.
Performance and feel
RSH 29E provides a medium-high friction level with a flat torque curve as temperatures rise. Initial bite is firm but easy to control, with excellent fade resistance in long sessions. Expect reduced wear on discs compared to many sprint compounds.

Bedding-in is critical: Follow PAGIDs bed-in procedure to achieve full performance and even transfer layer. Cold bite is usable, but best results come once the pads are warm.

In the words of the Vehicle Standards Agency (VCA), type approval provides "confirmation that production and samples of a design will meet specified performance standards".
For emissions components this encompasses noise, emissions and balanced back pressure, which have a strong influence on maintaining engine performance (power), and fuel efficiency. Type approval ensures that an aftermarket component will reach, or exceed the performance standard of the corresponding OE part.
Type-approval then, is a certain guarantee that an end user will receive a product of OE equivalent performance attributes.
