PAGID RSH 29E Racing Brake Pad (Shape 8041) S8041H29E01
Built for long, hard sessions. The PAGID RSH 29E is an endurance-focused racing compound for iron brake discs. It gives strong, stable braking over a wide temperature range, with low wear and very good control at the pedal.
Expect a medium initial bite that builds predictably. Modulation is smooth, which helps you trail brake with confidence. Fade resistance is high, so performance stays consistent stint after stint.
RSH compounds are designed for historic and classic racing applications, but the 29E mix also suits modern endurance and track-day use on iron discs. It works from lower temperatures than many race pads and stays effective at very high heat.
Track-use compound. May produce more noise, dust and rotor wear than OE road pads.

Fitment and applications

Bed-in guidance
Bring the pads up to temperature with several medium stops. Avoid holding the car stationary with hot brakes. Let them cool fully before heavy use for best performance and life.

In the words of the Vehicle Standards Agency (VCA), type approval provides "confirmation that production and samples of a design will meet specified performance standards".
For emissions components this encompasses noise, emissions and balanced back pressure, which have a strong influence on maintaining engine performance (power), and fuel efficiency. Type approval ensures that an aftermarket component will reach, or exceed the performance standard of the corresponding OE part.
Type-approval then, is a certain guarantee that an end user will receive a product of OE equivalent performance attributes.
Products on the Progressive Parts website that meet this approval will be clearly marked or labelled EC or ECE approved.
