PAGID RS 42 Racing Brake Pad (Shape 3102) E310242010
Built for track days and club motorsport, the PAGID RS 42 pad delivers strong, consistent stopping power with excellent control. It gives a firm, predictable pedal and resists fade under repeated hard braking. Rotor wear is moderate for a racing compound.
RS 42 works from relatively low temperatures, so bite comes in early and builds smoothly. It is well suited to lightweight to medium-weight cars and short to medium sessions. Expect more noise and dust than a road pad.
Motorsport compound – primarily for track use. Check local laws before using on the road.

MADE TO ORDER in blue means we've partnered with a supplier which primarily makes their products to order. It's not on our shelf, but your order goes into production immediately.

In the words of the Vehicle Standards Agency (VCA), type approval provides "confirmation that production and samples of a design will meet specified performance standards".
For emissions components this encompasses noise, emissions and balanced back pressure, which have a strong influence on maintaining engine performance (power), and fuel efficiency. Type approval ensures that an aftermarket component will reach, or exceed the performance standard of the corresponding OE part.
Type-approval then, is a certain guarantee that an end user will receive a product of OE equivalent performance attributes.
