Nitron BMW M2/M3/M4 (G8X) R1 Coilover Suspension Kit
The Nitron R1 kit is a high quality coilover upgrade for BMW G8X models. It gives sharper handling, stronger body control, and simple, useful adjustment for fast road and track days. Ride height is adjustable, so you can tune stance and balance to suit.
What it does
R1 uses single-way (1-way) damping control. One adjuster changes rebound and compression together. This keeps set-up quick and clear without the fuss of multiple knobs. Monotube, gas-pressurised dampers with low-friction internals resist fade, so performance stays consistent on a fast B-road or during a session on track.
Key features
- 1-way damping adjustment – easy, effective tuning for road and track
- Ride height adjustment for stance and corner balance
- Monotube, gas-pressurised design for strong control and feel
- No remote canisters – clean install with less complexity
- Hard-anodised aluminium bodies with stainless hardware to fight corrosion
- Matched performance springs selected for G8X chassis
- Hand-built in the UK and fully serviceable for long-term use
What you will feel
Turn-in feels crisper. Body roll reduces, so the car stays flatter through bends. Traction improves over bumps and kerbs, which builds confidence. On softer clicks the ride stays controlled and compliant for daily use. Set realistic expectations: it will be firmer than stock, and results depend on tyres and alignment.

Fits BMW G8X platform models, including:

Setup and advice
Start with Nitron’s recommended base clicks. Then adjust a few clicks at a time to suit your roads and tyres. Tyre choice and pressures make a big difference. Corner weighting and a proper geometry setup will unlock the best results.
A full 4-wheel alignment is required after installation.
