Nitron BMW M2 Competition (F87) R1 Suspension Kit
The Nitron R1 kit is a high quality coilover upgrade for the BMW M2 (F87). It sharpens steering response, improves body control, and gives you simple, useful adjustment for fast road or track days. Ride height is adjustable, so you can set stance and balance to suit.
What it does
R1 uses single-way (1-way) damping control. One knob changes rebound and compression together, making it easy to tune grip and comfort without juggling multiple settings. The monotube, gas-pressurised design uses a large piston and low-friction internals to keep damping consistent on a hard B-road or during a session on track.
- Single-way damping adjustment – quick, clear tuning for road and track
- Ride height adjustment for stance and corner balance
- Monotube, gas-pressurised dampers for strong control and feel
- No remote canisters – clean install with less complexity
- Hard-anodised aluminium bodies and stainless hardware for corrosion resistance
- Matched springs chosen for the M2 F87
- Hand-built and fully serviceable for long-term use
What you will feel
Turn-in feels crisper. The car stays flatter through bends with less body roll. Traction improves over bumps and kerbs, so confidence grows as speed builds. On softer clicks the ride remains controlled and compliant for daily use. It will be firmer than stock, and results depend on tyres and alignment.

Setup and advice
Start with Nitron’s recommended base clicks, then adjust a few clicks at a time to suit your roads and tyres. Tyre choice and pressures make a big difference. Corner weighting and a proper geometry setup will unlock the best results. A full 4-wheel alignment is required after installation.
