NGK LTR7IX-11 Iridium IX Spark Plug – Stock No. 6510
This NGK Iridium IX plug is built for reliable spark under load. It uses a fine iridium centre tip for a strong, consistent spark with less voltage. That helps reduce misfires, especially on turbo and tuned engines.
The NGK 7 heat range runs slightly colder than many OE plugs. This helps control combustion temperatures on higher boost or spirited use. For stock engines it can still work well, but the main gains are stability and durability, not big power.
Iridium lasts longer than copper or standard nickel tips. It also holds its gap better. That means less maintenance and more consistent performance over time.
Note: Supplied with a factory gap of 1.1 mm. Tuned engines often run a smaller gap (for example 0.7-0.8 mm) to prevent spark blowout. Always set gap to your tuner or manufacturer guidance.
