NGK BPR7HS Spark Plug – Stock No. 6422
The NGK BPR7HS is a reliable, resistor spark plug for everyday riding and light performance use. It gives clean ignition, stable idle, and good life. The projected tip helps cold starting and reduces fouling, especially in two-stroke and small-capacity engines.
It suits many motorcycles, scooters, small engines and some classic applications. Heat range 7 is a medium-cold choice that copes well with spirited use without running too hot. Always check your owner’s manual for the correct heat range and gap.

In the words of the Vehicle Standards Agency (VCA), type approval provides "confirmation that production and samples of a design will meet specified performance standards".
For emissions components this encompasses noise, emissions and balanced back pressure, which have a strong influence on maintaining engine performance (power), and fuel efficiency. Type approval ensures that an aftermarket component will reach, or exceed the performance standard of the corresponding OE part.
Type-approval then, is a certain guarantee that an end user will receive a product of OE equivalent performance attributes.
