NGK BKR8EIX Iridium IX Spark Plug – Stock No. 2668
The NGK BKR8EIX is a performance-focused iridium spark plug. It gives a strong, stable spark and better ignition under boost and high load. The iridium tip resists wear, so it keeps its gap and runs clean for longer than standard plugs.
This heat range 8 plug suits many tuned petrol engines where a colder plug is recommended to help control heat and reduce knock.
- Fine iridium centre electrode for reliable ignition and better throttle response
- Colder NGK heat range 8 for tuned and high-boost setups that need extra knock control
- Resistor design reduces electrical noise for stable ECU signals
- Durable construction for longer service life vs. standard copper plugs
Note: Always confirm fitment by engine code and manufacturer specs. Many popular turbo petrol engines use this type, including some VW and Audi 2.0 TSI and TFSI, Subaru EJ turbo, Mitsubishi 4G63, and Nissan SR20DET. Use the vehicle lookup or check the Vehicle Fitment tab.

Fitting and Use
Install on a cold engine with a clean, dry thread. Do not use anti-seize unless required by the vehicle maker. If gap changes are needed for high boost, adjust gently to avoid damaging the fine iridium tip. Retorque after initial heat cycle if specified by the manufacturer.
