NGK BKR6EQUP Laser Platinum Spark Plug – Quad Ground (Stock No. 3199)
This NGK Laser Platinum plug uses a fine platinum-tipped centre electrode and four ground electrodes for stable, long-lasting ignition. It helps cold starts, smooth idle and reliable performance under load. The quad ground design shares wear and resists fouling, so service life is longer than standard copper plugs.
Well suited to many BMW 6-cylinder petrol engines from the late 1990s to mid-2000s (e.g. M52, M52TU, M54, M56). Always confirm using the vehicle lookup or check the Vehicle Fitment tab.
- Strong spark with low voltage demand for easier starts
- Quad ground design for consistent ignition and longer life
- Resistor type to reduce electrical noise for the ECU and audio systems

– Apply a small amount of clean engine oil to the gasket. Do not use anti-seize on plated NGK threads.
– Tighten to the specified torque. If no torque wrench: finger tight, then 1/2 turn for a new gasket.
