NGK B9EG Spark Plug – NGK Stock 3530
The NGK B9EG is a cold heat-range, non-resistor racing spark plug designed for high-revving engines that run hot. It gives strong ignition at sustained high load, helping reduce misfire and detonation risk in demanding use.
It suits many performance two-stroke engines that specify a 14 mm, long-reach, gasket-seat plug. Check your engine’s manual and use the site’s vehicle lookup to confirm fitment, or see the Vehicle Fitment tab for full details.

Why choose the B9EG
This plug is built to cope with high cylinder temperatures and frequent wide-open throttle. It helps maintain a clean, consistent spark when mixtures are rich and revs are high. It is a good choice for tuned two-stroke bikes and karts that call for a cold, non-resistor, long-reach 14 mm plug.

In the words of the Vehicle Standards Agency (VCA), type approval provides "confirmation that production and samples of a design will meet specified performance standards".
For emissions components this encompasses noise, emissions and balanced back pressure, which have a strong influence on maintaining engine performance (power), and fuel efficiency. Type approval ensures that an aftermarket component will reach, or exceed the performance standard of the corresponding OE part.
Type-approval then, is a certain guarantee that an end user will receive a product of OE equivalent performance attributes.
