Forge Motorsport Billet Turbo Actuator for Audi A4 and Volkswagon Passat 1.8T Engines
This Forge Motorsport billet two-piece replacement aluminium turbo actuator is specifically designed for the Audi A4 and Volkswagon Passat 1.8T engines that are longitudinally mounted. It is manufactured from 6026 grade aluminium and is vehicle specific, turbo specific, and built to order. The actuator is machined and hand polished in the UK and comes with a choice of spring pressures to suit your car. It also features nomex reinforced flurosilicone diaphragms and laser cut stainless steel brackets (where applicable).
When you fit a Forge turbo actuator, you will be able to fine tune and manage your specific boost requirements, allowing for improved response and better control. The actuator is built with a predetermined actuator spring suitable for, or slightly above factory boost levels, and can be assembled with a stronger spring upon request for tuned vehicles. It is designed and built with the intention of increasing the boost output of a turbocharged system.
Diaphragm sealed internals are the default selection for this actuator product, but customers now have the option of piston sealed internals, offering equal performance to the diaphragm type and low maintenance due to the hard wearing nature of piston sealed valve internals.
Forge Motorsport nor any of its authorised distributors can assume any responsibility for any adverse effects resulting from the installation and tuning of this product onto a vehicle whose engine-management-system, whether factory or aftermarket, is not capable of allowing for the desired level of adjustment. While Forge Motorsport is happy to supply you with an actuator capable of holding boost beyond that of your factory unit, we are in no way capable of knowing nor suggesting that your vehicle’s engine or related systems are capable of supporting or surviving the stresses of such elevated boost pressure.

Forge Motorsport are one of the largest manufacturers of aftermarket turbo accessories, bringing cutting edge design and the highest quality to our product line, we strive every day to bring excellence to our customers. Sometimes, things can go wrong and we want YOU the customer to know you will be looked after beyond any level of customer service you have ever experienced before. With that in mind, the Forge Motorsport (Limited) Lifetime Warranty covers only products that have been purchased directly from us, or one of our authorised distributors/dealers.
If your Forge product fails or breaks due to a manufacturing issue or defect, we will repair or replace, at no charge to the customer at our discretion. This service will only be carried out IF the Forge product is still in its original unchanged design condition and the item/product has not been modified or changed in anyway. The Forge Motorsport (Limited) Lifetime Warranty will not cover any damage or failure caused by; improper or incorrect installation, normal wear and tear, the normal degradation of material over time, finished colour/aesthetic appearance of the product or if the product has been exposed to the use of any Traffic Film Remover or alternative acidic cleaner (commonly used in hand car washes).
The warranty will also be invalid if the Forge product has not been fitted to correct applications that it was designed for. Any damage to Forge products that occur outside of the warranty can be sent in for evaluation and a quotation to repair or replace said product along with a return shipping fee. The Forge products that are covered by our (Limited) Lifetime Warranty are to the original purchaser or owner of the Forge item for the lifetime of that said product only. The warranty policy is NOT TRANSFEREABLE However given the quality of the product that Forge manufacture we are confident of great longevity of your “Engineered for Performance” Forge part.
The Forge range of carbon fibre products are manufactured to the highest standards utilising the absolute best materials available. However, in certain applications and in areas of extreme temperature, this can lead to discolouration or fading (yellowing) of the carbon fibre. Unfortunately due to this harsh and extreme environment, your Forge carbon fibre is not warrantied for that eventuality. For the Hyundai engine cover applications, we would recommend considering this modification solely for show use, as it will discolour from heat due to the location of the turbo charger. All other aspects of your carbon fibre products are covered by our warranty process.

What do our stock statuses mean?
1+ IN STOCK in green stock is readily available in one of our warehouses for express delivery (at the time of viewing).
LOW STOCK in green means we're running low! 1 or 2 left on the shelf so act fast. Over evenings, weekends and bank holidays this stock can move quickly so please bear this in mind.
0 IN STOCK in blue means our primary warehouse does not have unallocated stock, but our UK partners do. Often these can be shipped quickly and efficiently. You'll be notified via the Track My Order page if further delays are unavoidable.
MADE TO ORDER in blue means we've partnered with a supplier which primarily makes their products to order. It's not on our shelf, but your order goes into production immediately.
0 IN STOCK in orange means everybody we work with is unfortunately out of stock. Stock is not available in the UK. The best course of action is to place an order to create an allocation from the next batch arriving.

For emissions components this encompasses noise, emissions and balanced back pressure, which have a strong influence on maintaining engine performance (power), and fuel efficiency. Type approval ensures that an aftermarket component will reach, or exceed the performance standard of the corresponding OE part.
Type-approval then, is a certain guarantee that an end user will receive a product of OE equivalent performance attributes.
Products on the Progressive Parts website that meet this approval will be clearly marked or labelled EC or ECE approved.
