Forge Motorsport Intake Kit for Mini Cooper F56
The Forge Motorsport Intake Kit for Mini Cooper F56 is a high-performance upgrade designed specifically for the 2.0 petrol engine found in the Cooper S and Cooper JCW models. This intake kit is also compatible with the Cooper 1.5 petrol, as BMW uses the same airbox from the factory.
The intake features a bespoke aluminium heat shield that serves as a scoop to direct air from the cold air inlet on the slam panel. It is designed to pick up on the stock mounting locations with rubber grommets, reducing vibration and noise.
Complementing the Forge Motorsport induction kit is the mandrel bent high flow turbo intake pipe (FMHFIP1), which eliminates flow restrictions associated with the OEM plastic pipe and resonator.
The intake pipe is hand fabricated and features a precision machined MAF boss, allowing for easy installation of the car’s original MAF. The filter, manufactured to Forge’s specifications by Pipercross, is washable and reusable, with layered multi-density foam technology for superior engine protection and improved airflow.
The intake scoop and hard pipe are finished in a hard-wearing crackle black powder coat, providing an OEM-style finish. In terms of performance, this intake kit has been tested to deliver a 10bhp increase with no other modifications to the vehicle.
Fitting the Forge Motorsport Intake Kit for Mini Cooper F56 is straightforward and requires no cutting or modification to the vehicle. It can be easily removed if needed and can be completed in just 20-30 minutes. Please note that fitting of this part is available at our performance workshop at Progressive Parts.

Ensure proper installation by watching our video on how to fit an air filter without damaging it. When fitting the filter to its counterpart, avoid over-tightening the hose clamp connecting them to prevent crushing and potential fitment or performance issues. The recommended torque setting for this hose clamp is 2-2.4Nm.
