Forge Intercooler for Veloster N
The Forge Intercooler for the Veloster N is a must-have product for those who use their Veloster N for fast road driving or have a high-performance tune in a hot climate. This intercooler is designed using industry-leading bar and plate technology, along with Solidworks CAD and flow simulation design, to ensure optimal cooling efficiency.
Featuring high-flow cast end tanks with an internal divider on the turbo side, this intercooler utilizes the full volume of the stepped core. With over 129% more volume and a 71% increase in frontal surface area compared to the stock cooler, the Forge Intercooler is currently the largest intercooler available on the market for the Veloster N.
The inlet and outlet sizes have been increased to 65mm, providing a 27% increase in volume over the stock cooler for perfect flow. Additionally, a custom hard pipe with a diameter of 64mm replaces the stock factory pipe on the hot side, ensuring maximum performance gains on high levels of tune. Both the boost pipe and intercooler come in a standard black textured finish powder coat for maximum longevity.
Extensive testing has shown that the Forge Intercooler significantly reduces inlet air temperatures (IATs) by half, resulting in tremendous gains on tuned vehicles. In dyno testing, the Forge Intercooler cooled much quicker and delivered a much greater drop in temperature compared to the OEM intercooler. In fact, the Forge Intercooler halved the factory intercooler intake temps from 48°C to 24°C.
When combined with the Forge intake and a quality aftermarket cat back exhaust, this intercooler delivers unparalleled levels of performance. Testing results showed an increase in power and torque, with the Veloster N producing an impressive 307bhp and 347lb/ft of torque compared to Hyundai’s claimed figures of 275bhp and 278lb/ft of torque.
