Akrapovič Porsche Cayman GT4 RS/Boxster Spyder RS (718) Sport Cat Link Pipe Set
The Link Pipe Set (Titanium), developed alongside the Slip-On Race Line (Titanium) system, is crafted from high-grade titanium with additional insulation using stainless steel. The front section, cast in the in-house foundry, is designed to ensure proper clearance with the stock shocks. Integrated into the system are 200 cpsi sport catalytic converters with extra heat protection, enhancing durability and performance. For non-OPF vehicles, a plug is included to disable the EGT sensor.
This link pipe set offers substantial weight savings, weighing 4.9 kg (38.9%) less than the stock system. When paired with the Slip-On Race Line (Titanium), it generates power gains of 19.5 kW (26.5 hp) at 4,950 rpm and torque increases of 38.1 Nm at 4,900 rpm, as recorded on the Akrapovič dyno against a Porsche 718 Cayman GT4 RS with the stock exhaust system.
The system delivers a more direct gas flow, resulting in a racing sound with distinct high-frequency tones, enhancing the driving experience. Remapping is mandatory when installed to optimize performance and prevent engine warning lights.
This track-oriented component is designed exclusively for use on closed-course competition circuits. For further performance improvements, the Evolution Header Set (Titanium) can be added.
This product does not meet emission compliance requirements for street or highway use.
