Akrapovič Mercedes-AMG Coupe GT/GTS/GTC Evolution Exhaust System
The Evolution Line (Titanium) elevates these cars to new levels of auditory excitement, enhanced performance, and striking aesthetics, featuring a perfectly sculpted exhaust system crafted from ultra-lightweight titanium alloys. This construction reduces the weight by over 46% compared to the stock exhaust. The system is finished with hand-crafted carbon-fibre tailpipes that provide a stunning visual and acoustic experience, showcasing the unique Akrapovič signature sound.
The sound is controlled by a complex X-connection, cast in Akrapovič’s in-house titanium foundry, featuring a precisely machined valve flap that alters the exhaust tones. This can be managed via a console button inside the cabin or the Sound Remote Controller of the optional Akrapovič Sound Kit. When the X-connection valve is open, the exhaust delivers a smooth and harmonic sound for a more comfortable ride. In the closed position, the acoustics are maximised to produce a pure, sporty, and intense muscle-car V8 roar. The system increases power and torque levels across the entire rev range.
The Evolution Line (Titanium) is ECE approved, meaning no ECU remap or additional parts are needed, and it offers a straightforward plug-and-play installation.
Fitting Information for GT/GT Roadster Models: The Evolution system is only compatible with cars equipped with the AMG Performance exhaust.
Fitment Notice: This system is not compatible with vehicles equipped with an Otto particulate filter (OPF).
