Akrapovič Mercedes A35 AMG (W177) AMG Slip-On Line Titanium Exhaust System
Providing a stunning sensory experience, this lightweight exhaust system is expertly crafted from high-grade titanium and features an eye-catching design with two pairs of titanium and carbon-fibre tailpipes. The exhaust valve, housed in a casing cast in Akrapovič’s in-house foundry, delivers a richer and higher-frequency sound compared to the stock exhaust, particularly noticeable when shifting through the gears. This refined sound is complemented by a smooth exhaust note that enhances the car’s engine tones without causing any discomfort or drone for the occupants. A specially designed perforated manifold tube on the valve side eliminates streaming while maintaining optimal pressure pulse distribution, resulting in a stronger and more dynamic sound.
Constructed from titanium and configured differently from the stock exhaust, this system is significantly lighter. Its design and build optimize power and torque levels across the entire rev range. The optimized flow path of the exhaust gases also provides greater tuning potential, which can be further enhanced with the addition of the optional Evolution Link pipe set (SS).
Important Note: Installing the optional Evolution Link pipe set (SS) will invalidate the ECE type approval for the Slip-On Line (Titanium) exhaust system.
The ECE type-approval certificate is valid for vehicles equipped with an Otto/gasoline particulate filter up to model year 2023, including pre-facelift vehicles.
Installation Notice: To install the Slip-On system, the stock exhaust system must be cut. Please carefully read the installation instructions before starting the process.
