Akrapovič BMW Z4 M40i (G29) Slip-On Line Titanium Exhaust System
Manufactured to exacting specifications from high-grade titanium, with components cast in Akrapovič’s in-house foundry, this exhaust system utilises lightweight materials to reduce the vehicle’s overall weight while optimising power and torque across the entire rev range. The system is ECE type-approved and features a design that seamlessly integrates with the car’s lines. The single-muffler layout, paired with four hand-crafted carbon-fibre round tailpipes, gives the rear of the car a distinctive and refined appearance.
The system offers various sound modes to enhance the driving experience. When the revs rise, the six-cylinder engine produces a sporty and animated roar, while in comfort mode, the sound is more subdued, making it ideal for cruising, especially with the roof down.
An optional Akrapovič Sound Kit is available, allowing drivers to control the different sound settings. Additionally, optional tuning opportunities are available through the addition of the stainless-steel Evolution Link Pipe set. However, please note that installing the Link Pipe will invalidate the ECE type approval, as will the use of the Sound Kit.
Fitment and EC type-approval are valid for engine type B58B30C. ECE type approval applies only to cars equipped with an Otto/gasoline particulate filter.
For the installation of the Slip-On system, the stock exhaust system must be cut. Please carefully read the instructions before beginning the installation.
