Akrapovič BMW XM (G09) Slip-On Titanium Exhaust System
This exhaust system is constructed from high-grade titanium and features integrated acoustic reflectors that are designed to reflect the external sound toward the cabin, enhancing the overall acoustic experience of the Akrapovič exhaust. Two integrated exhaust valves, one on each side of the muffler and operated by the Akrapovič control kit, optimise the gas flow to deliver a rewarding sound experience. The sound profile offers a linear flow based on rpm and engine load, providing a smooth and harmonic tone at lower revs, evolving into a distinctive V8 rumble in the mid-range, and reaching a high-frequency sporty crescendo as the revs increase.
The exhaust is finished with two sets of striking tailpipes featuring a titanium inner sleeve and a hand-made carbon-fibre outer sleeve. The complex components of this Slip-On Line (Titanium) system, such as the valve housings and two collectors, are all cast in Akrapovič’s in-house titanium foundry. The system is significantly lighter than the standard stock exhaust, reducing weight by 11.35 kg (50.7%).
When tested on the Akrapovič dyno against a BMW XM Label with an M exhaust system, it provides power and torque increases of 7.6 kW (10.3 hp) and 12.6 Nm, respectively, at 5,750 rpm. The system’s plug-and-play installation requires no remapping and comes with EC/ECE type approval.
For those seeking even greater performance gains, the Slip-On Line (Titanium) system can be further upgraded with the optional Evolution Link Pipe Set (Titanium)*, designed for exclusive track use. Please note that installing the Evolution Link Pipe Set (Titanium) will invalidate the EC/ECE type approval for the Slip-On Line (Titanium).
The Slip-On Line (Titanium) exhaust system is ECE type approved for cars equipped with an Otto/gasoline particulate filter.
Fitment Notice: This product is not compatible with the BMW XM 50e model.
