AIRTEC Motorsport ‘Gobstopper’ Large Capacity Intercooler Kit for R35 GT-Rs

AIRTEC Motorsport is proud to launch their new ‘Gobstopper’ large capacity intercooler kit, designed for highly modified Stage 4 and above R35 GT-Rs. This kit is perfect for those who require the highest level of cooling efficiency and performance for track or fast road use.

Our comprehensive kit has undergone an extensive development process over the past 2 years. It has been designed, developed, and tested in the UK after thorough research. We have tried and tested various end tank designs, boost pipe connectors, as well as tube-and-fin and bar-and-plate core options.

The finished design features 3″ formed inlet and outlet pipes that flow freely through custom end tanks into a huge, 110mm deep bar-and-plate core capable of supporting up to 1,500bhp. This design maximizes the vehicle’s lower grille area and includes an angled air deflector to further aid flow.

With a significant increase in surface area and volume compared to the standard intercooler, our kit drastically reduces charge temperatures. This is especially beneficial for tuned GT-Rs running increased boost pressures.

The kit fits neatly behind the original bumper, but does require modification to the plastic intercooler surround. It also includes a 20-piece big boost pipe and hose connector kit, which consists of pre-turbo induction pipes and AIRTEC foam air filters, along with all necessary fixtures and fittings for installation.

Choose from the following Blow Off Valve (BOV) options:

Option 1: Keep the original (stock) blow off valves

Option 2: Upgrade to the Turbosmart Dual Port BOV, an ideal bolt-on performance upgrade for any Nissan GT-R, designed to release higher than factory boost levels, essential for vehicles running stage 4 or above

Option 3: We can modify the boost pipe kit with custom flanges to suit your desired BOV setup (Stock, HKS, Greedy, etc). Please contact us when ordering, as additional charges will apply
